Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) is an integral part of all business activities at ISCO.
The activities that our work force carryout at various locations have certain amount of risks. Safety, therefore, is of utmost priority in all spheres of our activities. Our philosophy is that “No job is so important or so urgent that we cannot find time to perform it safely”. This is built into each activity at the work place, from the initial planning to final completion with total commitment and dedication to safety.

HSSE Management Information System
ISCO is having in-house developed Management Information System (MIS) on HSSE. It provides knowledge elements, data management on accidents, safety audits and compliance tracking.
About 100 green grown trees, best maintained housekeeping are an added value to office environment.

HSSE Systems & Procedures
Best safe practices are adopted to excel in safety at project sites.
Hazard identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation are incorporated in the safe work practices.
A well defined safety manual guides all project sites to comply the safety procedures.
Work place safety inspections, safety audits, compliance to recommendations are the proactive measures.
All accidents, incidents including near misses are reported, analyzed and lessons learnt communicated to all levels.
Basic safety orientation, basic fire fighting & defensive driving are a few mandatory training programs for all employees at ISCO. We are well equipped with training facilities like training centre and in-house HSSE faculty. A structured training program practiced at ISCO enhancing the knowledge and skills of the work force.
Every employee at ISCO is provided with an “SHE Passport” that provides a record of all the training programs attended, awards, accidents and relevant individual data.
ISCO recognizes the employees who contribute to promote safety at work place. It has constituted internal awards like safe man of the month, best safety performer, safe driver etc.
A process of periodical medical checks for all employees is in place to identify any occupational health issues. First aid medical centers are operated at all ISCO camps for immediate medical help. About 25 professionally trained first-aiders are the part of different work sites.
